A trained and qualified on SMS Part 145 (Advance) level. Very well equipped with ANO- 001- XXSP, ICAO Doc 9859, and ICAO Annex-19. Being Aviation Safety Manager, I learnt a lot about working environments of Commercial Airlines, working on Ramps or Aprons, and Air sides. It was best experience of my life to get interacted with various types of Commercial Aircrafts from different countries, however, being SAFA Inspector knowing this huge Machine is an art. One should be very very responsible and come with pro active approach and with safety mind to carry on with any activity on the Aircraft. I spent months & months to learn about such a technical machine yet I feel I know nothing, and still lots of there to understand. Being Corporate Safety MANAGER Safety of people, Crew, Equipment & Machine entirely depends upon you, that how much knowledge as per Aircraft Handling Manual & IGOM you have put in your self, and how to display it on the field. My sole responsibilities were to make sure the safe depart of all flights from airport to their destinations, being SAFA inspector, thorough inspection of all commercial aircraft as per SAFA check list & inform any abnormal thing or ambiguity to Engineers or concerned staff / Managers on the site. Checking of Pilot's licenses, their latest valid medical certificates, & implementation of regulatory requirements, monitoring of loading/ unloading of cargo, proper staging of heavy items at Cargo bay, and sending reports with images/ videos to HOD of Safety & concerned Department's Managers, if any violation of SOP or hazard found. To mitigate & diminish the risk was my prime responsibility which could lead to any untoward incident on the Aprons. Show less
