Continually focused on priorities that produced timely, high-leverage, actionable information to stakeholders for the purposes of identifying and furthering impactful business goals. Ensured accuracy and transparency of the reports, as well as clarity of use. • Spearheaded increased governance activities on our internal Tableau Server, including separation of sandbox and production reports; rollout of SOPs to maintain quality of production reports, including quarterly archiving of unused and stale reports; providing quarterly information about PHI reports to the security team; quarterly reclamation of unused user licenses. • Created datasources for Tableau reporting that could be used by multiple workbooks, starting from a mostly normalized database not optimized for reporting. Leveraged Tableau relationships to consolidate datasources and make them more flexible. Set up database tables to facilitate querying for specific areas. • Responsible for preparing the operational analytics slides for the Board of Directors meetings and many C-suite-level meetings. • Starting in 2021, oversaw management of the company’s primary reporting database. Oversaw improvements to the python ETL codebase to allow best practice maintainability. • Designed and deployed a Tableau-based workaround for a CRM system issue that prevented salespeople from seeing their quotas. This replacement of function was accomplished with no interruption of service or loss of integrity to any lab process. • Coded a perlscript that allowed the QA team to automatically generate mocked results files for our main assay, using any desired result variations and combinations. This eliminated a time-consuming step in the QA of this major effort, and allowed for much more exhaustive testing than had previously been feasible

End products ranged from customized vendor products to development of proprietary code. • Designed, built, tested, and deployed 10 data reports used by 5 scientists to verify sample information stored in an Oracle database before data was sent to the FDA. Proactively made changes based on understanding of users’ priorities to greatly improve end user satisfaction. • Developed a fileloader module for a custom sample management application that minimized errors from data loading. Work required assessment of user needs for workflow and visual layout, in-depth knowledge of a complex system of interacting applications and their back-end Oracle databases, and knowledge of the parameters of a COTS system component. • As part of a team, gathered requirements for, documented, coded, tested, deployed and maintained Wyeth Bioinformatics’ first 21-CFR-Part11-compliant, validated software system. • Wrote all code to test a migration of genetic data from one Oracle data warehouse to another, ensuring that the data was 100% intact after the migration.
