Quality Engineer

Jun 2022 - Jan 2023
As a Logistics and Customer Engineer, below are my list of duties. 1. Third Party Quality Service Representative Management - Currently, WSNA's customers are GM plants in Fairfax, Wentzville, Cami (Canada), San Luis Potosi (Mexico), and Ramos (Mexico). WSNA has quality representatives in those plants to deal with possible quality issues. I regularly communicate with them to figure out what they need, as well as to collaborate and provide a timely response to quality problems. 2. Quality Cost Management - WSNA is paying quality representatives for their regular and emergency services. I receive invoices from 3rd party quality service companies and store records of quality cost payments in the spreadsheet file. Keeping and tracking quality cost payments enable me to analyze their patterns, thereby facilitating in setting up of the budget plan for quality-related costs and negotiating with the headquarter in Korea. 3. Sales Activity Support - I support sales activities in Wooshin Safety System's business transactions with GM CCA and tier 1 seat suppliers. They include but are not limited to: (1) participation in meetings hosted by GM and seat suppliers, (2) negotiation for EDI adjustments, and (3) discussion for removing barriers in sales activities.
