Valerie is one of those professors that every college student dreams of having. The young, hip professional with a detailed resume; not just a book worm hiding in a classroom. "Real world" experience is an integral part of Valerie's teachings. She draws colleagues into the classroom from not only her industry, but industries that her students may find a future in. As one of these guest professors, I find that this creative style of teaching increases student engagement and strengthens future employable skills.
