  I’ve worked with 2000Trees Festival for a few consecutive years building new sculptures and items for round the site as well as refurbishing older items. The more time I’ve spent with the team the more they have trusted me leading small groups of other volunteers giving me more responsibilities.   I was asked to be apart of the design crew to design and set up the exhibition representing students of the UK at Prague Quadrennial festival in the summer of 2019. The Future Utopias Imaginarium process began in a collaborative workshop with a group of over thirty student and early-career designers and performance makers. Over the last five months a core team of nine artists of various backgrounds from Edinburgh, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Birmingham, and London have constructed a shifting performance space for PQ19. The audience was invited to observe and interact with a team of ‘’Future Makers’’ in a circular space that sat between a factory and a gameshow. An endlessly recurring process to build a future utopia is activated by chance and imagination, and overseen by a mysterious authority figure.
