Bio
Lara Bailey
I worked alongside Stevie for more than four years at United Media Group. In this time she progressed from the role of editorial assistant to become editor of our flagship publication Wedding & Bride; a demanding role that necessitated the coordination of interstate photo shoots and included an unforgiving writing and editing schedule. Stevie proved to be a highly focused and incredibly innovative editor. She revamped and modernised the magazine’s format – a considerable undertaking for a publication consisting of hundreds of pages – and generated creative and engaging content throughout her tenure. Stevie is one of the finest proof readers and editors I’ve known. It was virtually impossible for a typo to escape Stevie’s careful eye, and her finely-tuned structural editing skills made her a valuable asset to the UMG editorial team. An exceptional team player, leader, and creative thinker, Stevie would be a wonderful addition to any editorial department.

I have had the pleasure of working with Stevie on three to four editorials for the WA Wedding and Bride magazine, where she was an amazing editor, she knew what she wanted and produced some of the best editions of the magazine while she was working with the Magazine group UMG. I was thrilled when informed of the two front covers that we selected for, and can only attribute the requirement of high quality images for her submissions. Stevie will go far in any endeavour she undertakes, attention to detail, with only a high quality finished product is what Stevie strives for. we wish her well in all her future endeavours.
