Project Engineer

- Work closely with land development team as owner’s representative to develop project objectives and be in constant coordination with engineers, architects, contractors, consultants and vendors. - Perform detailed constructibility review of plans and specifications as the design progresses. - Prepare and send out construction/Development project scope of work and Request for Proposals (RFP’s). - Track quantities of the work done, review and approve pay requests submitted by the contractor. - Responsible for tracking and distributing submittal, RFI’s, change order, purchase orders during project life cycle. - Develop project status and budget reports to guide project management staff in meeting project goals and milestones. - Manage project close-out including securing warrantees, guarantees and punch lists.

Project Design Engineer

-Design and develop high quality and complete civil engineering drawing sets for Land Development Projects, under direct supervision of P.E. -Responsible for hydrologic storm runoff calculations and hydraulic calculation, site drainage and runoff detection calculations. H&H experience also includes analysis, calculations and designing for various drainage structures such as Culvert, Storm Drains. -Experienced in designing Detention/Retention Ponds, Drainage Channels. -Experienced in obtaining required easements or permits for water, sanitary sewer and utility structures. -Prepare quantity take-off and cost estimating for drainage, earthwork, concrete, utilities, paving and erosion control improvements for residential, commercial projects using Bluebeam and AutoCAD Civil 3D. -Prepare and review Contract Documents for Different Cities of several counties. Analyze and compare bid received from contractors/subcontractors. -Prepare, review and answer RFI (Request for Information) & RFQ’s (Request for Qualifications) for any additional work or change order. -Coordinate with City Engineers of several municipalities and TX DOT (Texas Department of Transportation) Engineers for preliminary permit and project development process.
