Steve and I worked together in a challenging environment at Commerzbank. I had targeted the employment of Salesman/Business developers who understood the UK Investment Funds landscape and could take that knowledge and lend it to the development of, and distribution of derivative based strategies eminating from an Investment banking culture. Steve proved very able in identifying clients who could benefit from the new products we created and then manage the client relationship with empathy for both the clients needs and the maintenace of a commercial product offering. Steve is very focussed and puts in the time and effort to develop client relationships to mutually beneficial execution, results orientated, Steve would make a valuable contribuition to any buisiness development team he joined.

Steve is a highly dedicated fund sales professional with extensive experience of marketing and distributing both long only and alternative investment funds/product. During my time working with him at Commerzbank, he always led by example and offered to senior management a clear and strategic vision for building out the bank's asset management platform within what was a very successful European investment banking franchise. I look forward to working with Steve again at some point in the future and can recommend him to any firm looking for strong sales manager or senior sales executive.

SSgA is one of the largest asset managers in the world, and is a global leader in passive fund management with the long established SPDR range of ETFs. In addition, SSgA also manages in excess of $100 billion in active strategies, and whilst continuing to support and grow our ETF business I will be looking to increase awareness of the range of active stategies and funds we have available for our clients in the UK.
