Nikki Smith
For almost five years, I had the pleasure of having Lara in the Marketing Department. She first started as a temporary designer to get a large (1000+ pages) catalog completed on time. Her InDesign skills, attention to detail and fast workflow allowed her to quickly excel over some of my full-time staff. We ended up bring her onboard full-time and never looked back. She promptly went on to become the senior designer where she led many team projects and showed intuitive design ability on a wide variety of projects. Logos, product design, web design, mailers, trade show graphics and many other projects were completed quickly and artfully under Laura’s keen leadership. When the position of the Art Department Manager came open, it was an easy decision to offer it to Lara. For a year and a half, Lara directly supervised a full-time team of four along with a few part-time employees. Lara managed production timelines and design for catalogs up to 1200 pages. Graphics for multiple websites. Signage and displays for tradeshows. Product design and colorway selection and many more projects. She was able to keep her team on task and produced great content. I recommend Lara highly and would happily work with her again.
