In the two years that I have worked with Osmar he has shown himself to be a resilient and resourceful professional. He has had to deal with many changes in both management and strategic direction, yet he is always ready when called upon to handle a new project or task. He looks for the best way to make things work among chaos, a trait that became crucial during the transition to online classes that took place at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. He worked tirelessly to help both students and his staff make the best of a very complicated situation. Osmar’s professionalism comes through in everything he does, from presentations to customer service. He is polite and friendly with everyone. He takes care with every project to be certain all details have been managed and all possibilities thought through. He always manages to maintain a positive attitude even when things are unclear or difficult. He is also one of the most dependable people I know.

Osmar is a valued colleague. I have worked with him for over 2 years. During this time, I have observed that he is an effective leader and a team player. Osmar has taken to time to develop and train his direct report to achieve outstanding results. He always conducts himself in a professional manner and he takes full ownership of his processes. Osmar has led various technology-based projects such as the implementation of the Destiny One system. He has worked with the implementation team and he has functioned as a project manager to get the new system implemented. Osmar is a trusted member of the Emory Continuing Education leadership team. He speaks his opinions and shares a wealth of experience during discussions. He willingly shares his experiences with a humble, yet knowledgeable delivery. Osmar is extremely comfortable using technology and he has implemented process improvements as needed to the class facilitation process. He keeps his word. He interacts effectively with our corporate clients to ensure that he understands and communicates their needs to the Operations team. He pushes for and achieves world class results. He is extremely organized, and he manages multiple projects and he delivers results. He is an effective asset to any team.
