I can't say enough great things about David. I haven't met anyone who is more passionate about technology and using it to unlock collaboration and productivity in a company environment. I worked on many initiatives with David during my time at Avery Dennison. I can confidently say those projects would not have been as successful without David's dedication and determination. Reflecting back on my time working with David I realize how much we counted on him. He was usually the first leader to challenge the status quo, to question if there was a better way. Once we reached consensus David would provide that much needed devil's advocate perspective that probably saved us from proceeding toward a mistake more than once. When things would start to go south, David always had the courage to say the things that many of us were afraid to verbalize. With that said, he was also the first to provide the encouragement when it was needed to keep the team going. I didn't always agree with all of David's ideas or viewpoints, but I always respected his intelligence and his perspective. You always knew everything he said had thought behind it and was in the best interest of the company. Overall, I feel lucky to have worked with David. I really wish everyone brought his same passion and work ethic to the office everyday. He is a great leader that would be an asset to any organization.

One of David’s greatest strengths is empowering teams to perform at their highest caliber by supporting each individual's motives and aligning team strategy to flourish. As a direct report to David, I collaborated with him to develop a multi-year global program, and was impressed with how David is able to take a monumental task and break it down with a phased approach with aggressively achievable targets. He is one who believes that continual learning is in all our best interests and works to ensure everyone is well equipped with the knowledge needed to succeed.
