      Working along side St. Michaels Outdoor Education program and the Salt Spring Adventure Company I lead week long outdoor excursions for high school students on Salt Spring Island. Yearly excursions are mandatory for students to graduate from grade 12. The goal for this program is to expose students to an unfamiliar environment and have them practice their leadership skills. Some of the activities that that the kids participate in are: sea kayaking, hiking, camping, leadership games, marine biology, permaculture farming, yoga, and classes on sustainable energy.
