Citymapper is a transport and navigation app used by millions of people worldwide. As a member of a small, agile design team I am involved in product and UI design, and marketing on the side. I work with frontend developers to build and ship zero-to-one features on our Enterprise SDK product, and contribute to and maintain the design system. I also design, animate and write social content, which on one occasion generated 25+% increase in app downloads in the UK. better.sg is a non-profit volunteer-run techforgood community based in Singapore. I helped to launch tobeyou.sg, an interactive fiction mobile game inspired by true stories of the minority experience in Singapore. My contributions include leading on brand design, and art direction and UI. The game was pretty successful – it garnered hundreds of responses and reflections from users. Within a year of its launch, it recorded >20,000 play-throughs from over 5,000 players, with an engagement rate of 10%. It was a winning hackathon project in 2020 and is fully funded by Singapore's Ministry of Culture, Community, and Youth. Show less

Information Designer

Applied is a leading wayfinding and information design consultancy that helps people make sense of complex environments. Clients include Google, Princeton, and Metrolinx Toronto. As an information designer, I was responsible for developing systems-led design solutions for urban environments including public transport networks, and office and university campuses. I lead the design of maps, iconography, colour and typography usage guidelines as well as coordinated and wrote usage documentation. I worked in small teams, with urban planners and was involved in on-site and user research, stakeholder engagement, and design production handover and oversight. In the design studio, I hosted knowledge-share sessions and field trips and was involved in interviewing and mentoring junior designers. Show less
