  My work at TurnerWarran is controlling the workflow of the employees and ensuring that targets are being achieved. In addition to this work I review the work of employee, provide technical assistance to the employees and also am a focal point for clients. I endeavour to reduce the tax liabilities of my clients and client service is fundamentally tantamount to the ethos that the practice operates by and which is instilled into the employees. You will no doubt hear it banded about by accountants that client service is key yet I truly believe that and I will go out of my way to ensure that the service that clients are receiving remains high; I have been known to answer emails whilst on the golf course and even on my honeymoon! Understanding a client's business is crucial to the proper performance of an accountant and I like to become, in essence, a part of your business. By properly understanding your business I am able to effectively defend you in front of HMRC. In fact there was one instance whereby a client entrusted me with dealing with a HMRC enquiry and the client did not even need to turn up! I was able to advise the Inspector as to how the business operated, how it generated its income and what its expenses were and the result of the enquiry was no additional tax.   My work at A P Robinson & Co is heavily geared towards conducting statutory audits as and when they are required for our clients.
