Katie served as an Intern with the Customer Enablement & Documentation Team at Trintech, Inc. in Summer 2022. It is with enthusiasm that I recommend Katie. At Trintech, the Customer Enablement Team supports customers, partners, and team members through various training programs. As part of her internship, Katie helped the team with two efforts. First, she created PowerPoint Slides and a Training Guide to support the instructor-led training efforts on Cadency Compliance. Katie utilized existing eLearning content to learn the basics of the Compliance process and organized the material to create a course curriculum that will be used by Trintech's Technical Trainers in the future. Second, Katie created five eLearning courses to support administrators in learning the functionality within ReconNET. To assist in this project, she energetically attended all training sessions to learn the functionality of how to use Articulate Storyline 360, an eLearning authoring tool. Upon learning the functionality of Storyline 360, Katie utilized a detailed checklist to execute updates. She worked diligently to ensure she met process requirements, and she completed each update in compliance with departmental standards. Katie demonstrated an aptitude for efficient, streamlined work. While the work was often repetitive, she remained focused on the task at hand and ensured an exceptional level of attention to detail. Katie demonstrated an aptitude and interest in instructional design. Katie applied various instructional design skills to create engaging courses that will assist Trintech's users in adopting new product knowledge. She delivered content with a high level of professionalism in design, and she created content that is engaging for learners. Her content is organized, logical, and easy to follow. She defines objectives and creates content that meets those objectives. She collaborated effectively with Subject Matter Experts to assist in her content development process. Katie also demonstrated an aptitude for technical training. Her presentation style is professional and confident. She naturally built rapport with learners while speaking clearly and confidently. She executed software demonstrations that were concise and effective, while she highlighted helpful hints and best practices. My team and I were impressed with Katie's energetic, positive attitude and commitment to working hard. She asked for assistance when needed, managed her time effectively, and displayed professionalism daily. She handled the responsibilities of working remotely on a consistent basis. It was truly a pleasure to have Katie as a member of the team. I would recommend Katie for future opportunities within instructional design and training. With the many transferable skills from her long career as an educator, Katie can confidently transition to a role within a learning and development department. She would be an asset to your team.
