POW! Thanet has developed an exciting programme of artistic diversity and cultural engagement. In 2020, managed by a team of seven professional women, supported by POW!s Trustees and helped by over 30 outstanding volunteers, we were able to programme over 50 events and exhibitions across the Isle. We have been putting on gatherings with a nod to the David Mancuso/loft party ethos since we took on this old seaside building. Gaining a cult following and a great reputation in the underground avant-garde music world and dance music scene. Our stunning sound system made by EM Acoustics is quality rather than bass heavy thumping. With our years of club and festival production experience, combined with brilliant local and international DJs and good vibed bar staff and crowd, it has put the Margate party scene on the map.
