I worked daily on an Apple Mac Pro using Adobe Creative Suite 6, namely InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge and Acrobat Professional. I liaised directly with clients, from initial meetings through to the delivery of the final product. I regularly worked with external print companies, acquiring three quotes to ensure value-for-money, preparing the artwork for print and approving proofs. I requisitioned any new orders through our Agresso Finance system, monitored the stock situation and ordered as necessary to ensure the department ran smoothly. I was also the Fire Service photographer taking photos for news stories, one-off events and for stock image purposes – this also included video production and editing on Final Cut Pro. I worked closely with the Corporate Communications Team to maintain the social media accounts of both Twitter and Facebook and provided media for the Intranet and Website.
