Hillary is an amazing developer! She is able to break down technical information so it can easily be digested by non-technical people, and is very comfortable and easygoing in front of clients. While she specializes in back end development, I have definitely seen her step up and produce great front end work when needed. Hillary constantly hits all of her deadlines, no matter how tight the timeline, and I always appreciate her proactive and positive attitude. She is very loved by the entire CP team, and one of the smartest, best humans I've ever worked with! I will always want Hillary on my team.

As a full stack Drupal developer, I am heavily involved in a project’s stages, such as sales, discovery, architecture, estimating tasks, sprint planning, creating project timelines, and writing various documentation. Each week I perform maintenance and security module updates and attend to support tickets for multiple clients. Along with my web development responsibilities, I also contribute to company productivity by creating custom tools, and performing server administration tasks. One of my initiatives was to create Object Oriented Programming training for the rest of the development team for the release of Drupal 8. Show less

I was the primary developer for MINT, a market intelligence web application, which provided businesses with competitor intelligence data, and featured RSS feeds, financial comparisons, and email alerts. The project was built in Drupal and used integration with Apache Solr to provide fine-grained search capabilities. I led a large project for scaling and performance of the system, which utilized database optimizations, caching mechanisms, and other server configuration changes that improved performance by 300%. As a Junior developer, I was responsible for bug fixes and enhancements to DayCare Works, a daycare management web application written in Java. It used JSP and ExtJS fields and layout for the frontend, and a MySQL database maintained with the Hibernate ORM. My large projects included email relay with JavaMail, and integration with Authorize.net CIM, Amazon Web Services S3, SkyDrive, Google Drive, Amazon Cloud, and Twitter. A 10 week program sponsored by the National Science Foundation and partnered with Beaumont Healthcare Systems to design an Android application for speech therapy patients to analyze speech in real-time and give immediate feedback. The smartphone application was written in Java, and integrated with lightweight signal analysis algorithms written in C. The website for doctor and patient interaction was based in Python with a MySQL database. Acted as media and website resource for all faculty in the school. My main contribution was to develop and implement a flexible and easy-to-maintain virtual tour of the various research and teaching laboratories in the school. The main scripting language used was ASP with an MS Access database, but special projects were done with PHP and MySQL. Acted as media and website resource for all faculty in the school.
