I carry out a wide variety of marketing activities at Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre. I’m particular I look for ways to use our modest marketing budget most efficiently to communicate our shows and classes to our local audience - promoting engagement and encouraging ticket sales. The majority of my work is social media, website and email marketing. Writing and amending copy, and creating and adapting imagery supplied to us by acts that are appearing in order to best stand out on crowded social media platforms. I am also taking the lead on our seasonal brochures which are mailed out to our audience and delivered to local businesses. I enjoy being creative and find that this role gives me ample opportunity to utilise and improve my graphic design skills. I have a limited but important role in programming, offering my opinions on potential acts that the artistic director is considering bringing the the theatre. My goal is to increase our standing in the local area, increasing people’s awareness of us, and getting them to attend events for the first time. Show less
