I (Wipro SI Team) and Saarang (Coordinated b/w us and business) has worked together in implementing SAP HCM Payroll for Non Officers in Tata Steel. I believe it would be appropriate to mention about the complexity of the project before highlighting the contribution of Saarang in making one of the successful projects for TSL as well as for Wipro within the defined Timelines (Nov 2017 to March 2018) TSL has more than 45 Unions across India and the project scope covered all these union agreements, and more than 15 types of various businesses within TSL. Considering the volume of this project, complexities/variations involved in the business rules, duration of the project, Legacy of TSL in defining the HR policies, and room for errors/miscalculation, execution of this project within the timelines was a daunting task had we not had Saarang around us. Saarang proactively took care of multiple tasks which involved gathering and consolidating requirements from all the business units, helping us in making business understand the limitation system has in meeting certain requirements, playing vital role during UAT and End user Training phases. There is a lot more contribution from him than what is mentioned here. It is because of Saarang's (Guidance from Mr. Qaiser-Head Payroll TSL) proactiveness we had this project started from 20% than 0%. He never took long time to understand the system design for any business processes, and most of the times helped us in simplifying the design since he had good understanding of the way things are done in TSL. Wipro as SI and I as Solution Architect for this project was very fortunate to have Saarang as a Project Team Member. Personally I found a good friend in Saarang as both of our wave length matches in almost all the topics/discussions.
