The Ecoracer is a voluntary student driven project where it is our passion that drives the development. For me the project is all about learning in a fun environment, I/we develope hardware, software and mechanics bottom up. We draw parts/assemblies in solidworks and 3D print them or have our workshop produce them. We design circuit boards and have them manufactured in China. We write and debug our own code for our hardware. All-in-all the project includes all aspects of project development and the payoff is seeing the project you have worked on for so long compete in a race at the end of the year. Show less

From 1st of september 2019 I had the fortunate opportonity of interning at Grundfos in Suzhou, China for two months. During my stay I got to experience a diverse culture and different working ethics compared to Denmark. Due to Visa limitations I finished my semester at Grundfos in Bjerringbro, Denmark. This further emphasised the difference between Chinese and Danish Culture. All in all a very educating and enlightening experience. At Team Aalborg Energy we volunteer our scarce spare time to work with a hydrogen powered electric car. The work on the car is an entirely student driven activity and we pride ourselves in that. After our summer finals we travel to London to compete in the Eco-marathon which is a global competition with hundreds of universities from around the world participating!
