In my time as an LLA member, I've helped write COVID-19 joint resolution bills to be presented to Assembly, attended meetings with Student Body President mentor, and gained experience with the voting and passing of bills within the Legislative Assembly..   The Daily Texan is a student-run newspaper at the University of Texas at Austin. After applying, submitting previews of my writing, and interviews, I was selected to join the Social Media Team. While serving as a member of the Social Media team and assisting with Twitter posts (among a number of other social media platforms), this organization broke the record to become the most followed college newspaper account in the country. Founded in 1900, this newspaper is one of the oldest in student newspapers in the South, and has won numerous national, regional, and state awards. During my time here, I've assisted with captions and posting for a variety of different platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Show less
