After being an active volunteer and advocate for Thirst Project, I had the opportunity to serve as an intern for one year during my undergraduate career. As a Thirst Project ambassador my responsibilities included: -Refining the Thirst Project's "Road Warrior" program to an online platform in the first class of Ambassadors during the pandemic -Scheduling and delivering 35 presentations in ten months -Speaking to schools and organizations across FL about Thirst Project's mission to empower youth to end the global water crisis -Mentoring students and advising clubs in fundraising efforts and managing fundraising projects -Designing unique ways to help students fundraise online -Personally raised over $15K to support efforts to build wells in developing countries In 2019, I had the privilege to volunteer in eSwatini, Africa and see the impact of Thirst Project's work first hand.
