  I work with students in the Office of Students with Disabilities to help them achieve their academic goals and maintain grade levels. If there is a subject that they are struggling with, I work with them to develop and implement a plan with the training I have been given to succeed not only in that class, but in all their classes.

  I work in the office for student transitions specifically in the orientations department. Last summer, I worked through them as an orientation leader on campus, leadings groups of students through their day of orientation here on campus. This included, but was not limited to, placement testing and departmental meetings. During this school year, I started working in the office, where I do a variety of things. I helped edit the new First Year Experience Guide for incoming freshmen. I also helped conduct interviews for the new orientation leaders that will be working this summer. As the Residence Life office is also in our office area, I have also assisted in signing students up for housing, and dealt with the stress that sometimes accompanies that. Show less
