  As the Program Manager for our National Guard contract I worked as part of a team responsible for the successful delivery of 67 specialty communication vehicles used in support of natural disaster and security threats around the country and internationally. Specific responsibilities of the position included: Oversight of the day to day production operations across 4 departments, development of production schedules to meet contract delivery requirements over the 24 month contract period. Additionally I was responsible for oversight of materials requirements of the project including raw materials and vendor purchased parts to meet production takt times in accordance with Lean best practices. Integration of quality control inspections and testing into the build cycle to build in quality into the final product. Ensured all testing was complete and documented for each unit delivered. Developed leaders and fostered team building among 40 production personnel spanning our fabrication, assembly, electrical and paint staff

  Involved with all facets of the audio, video and networking business operations including retail sales, system design, proposal development and custom installation, and testing of both residential (single and multiple dwelling units) and commercial projects. Provide all necessary customer training and customer follow up support to include system operations and trouble shooting. Identification and ordering of required supplies, placing and receiving equipment purchase orders, inventory control, payroll and accounting. Install in-wall HDMI cables, component cables, digital audio cables and data cables. Field terminate both audio, network and video low voltage cabling to meet industry standards, including RG6, RG6QS, Cat5e, Cat6 and CL Rated Speaker wire. Configuration and Testing - Configure IP devices including keypads, wireless streaming devices, computer network interface cards and routers to ensure compatibility of network settings and system operation. Configure and test learning remote controls for system operation. Test all installed cables for proper functionality and ensure there are no opens, shorts or other faults. Calibrate Video displays to ensure proper picture quality. Wiring - Bore wire hole, secure low voltage wiring to framing, run conduit, install new and retrofit construction wall boxes. Ensure that all wiring is done in accordance to the National Electric code and industry standards.

  Supervised day to day operations of the US Antarctic Program's Palmer Station Logistics Department. Specific job responsibilities included: Oversaw multiple employees, implemented daily job tasking, wrote seasonal performance evaluations, processed accident report documentation and maintained an inventory system wide data base. Identified and coordinated with Raytheon Polar Service safety department to implement processes for vessel off-load and on- load operations. Supervised multiple cargo vessel off-load and on-load operations. Safely and consistently moved five hundred thousand + pounds of cargo during a normal 3 day port call. Conducted daily safety briefings as required based upon weather conditions and job tasking. Developed and presented monthly safety meetings on topics specific to vessel off load, station operations and environmental safety. Assisted in developming Palmer Station Logistics SOP in accordance with ISO2000 standards prior to successful ISO2000 certification. Oversaw inventory and daily issuing of station supplies for 10 varied stock rooms. Coordinated with station science personal on transportation of hazardous sample shipment from Antarctica to specific research institutions and ensured 100% compliance with temperature and time sensitive sample delivery. Ensured all processed cargo and associated hazardous cargo documentation complied with IATA (International Air Transportation Association) standards for commercial air transport of hazardous cargo. Provided requirements and necessary documentation to station management concerning station resupply items and ordered items as required based upon station needs. Safely operated a variety of forklifts and heavy equipment in support of logistics activities including 4-wheelers, Catipillar IT-28 and 936 front end loaders for snow removal and fork lift operations.
