 Oversee/perform survey, installation, commissioning, integration/link up and acceptance testing of Ciena 6500 transport equipment. Perform installation, commissioning, integration/link up and acceptance testing of MPB Super Raman equipment. Perform STM-1, STM-4, STM-16, STM 64 and 10GE node to node circuit testing of Ciena 6500 32slot transport equipment. Perform STM-64 and 10GE Protection Switch over Testing (PSOT) of Ciena 6500 32slot transport equipment. Perform Quality Audit inspection of site base on customer standard installation. Perform power tapping and turning up of new node element. Perform circuit migration activity from old node element to new node element. Provides assistance and perform fiber splicing and OTDR testing if necessary. Carry out element and management system software and hardware upgrade. Provide on-site troubleshooting of reported faults/alarms and telephone technical support for customer and sub-contractor in domestic region. Coordinate with the customer and subcontractor for the scheduled activities. Sending of timely SMS and email notification status update report of all activities to operation and management personnel. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and work with hardware, software and system engineers to identify the root cause. Provide remote technical support (via telephone or on line) for identified CIENA products 24x7 when required. Provide on-site support to Customers where required.  Communicate with Design and Supply Chain on problems / issues found in the field. Perform red line drawing of site as built plan documents. Prepare, validate and consolidate all of the as built pictures of site before sending to customer.
