  My role as curriculum developer is to conceptualise and create the weekly lesson plans and all accompanying materials for grades 6 and 7, Core English and Language Arts. Bilfen Schools applies a centralised education system, which means that the lesson plans and materials I create are read and used by 100+ teachers and reach 1000+ students. To provide our students and teachers with clear, directly applicable lesson plans and innovative, engaging materials on a weekly basis is a demanding task, but it is also what makes my job so exciting and rewarding. I maintain a constant connection with our teachers via Skype or via written feedback to make sure my plans and materials meet their students' needs. Another advantage of my position is that it has allowed me to grow professionally. Among the very many things I have learned in my three-year experience in this position, I would say that the following are the most valuable: how to be organised yet flexible and how to deliver while under pressure.
