      The ASHRAE Foundation was established in 1994 by a dedicated group of long-time ASHRAE members with the purpose of providing a permanent financial resource that supports the Society’s vision statement and mission. The funds are endowed to support Scholarships, Honors and Awards, ASHRAE Learning Institute, ASHRAE Research and other approved program requests from the ASHRAE Board of Directors. The ASHRAE Foundation only uses the earnings from its investments to support programs and the principal will always be protected.
