Through the process of acquiring accreditation from NATA for aggregate testing within the main laboratory in Victoria and in addition to previous years of experience as a materials technician, I obtained the senior status as a materials Geo-technician. As a result now I lead a team of 3 people with special focus in aggregates testing. Some of my responsibilities include:- Produce NATA endorsed reports for specialized testing on aggregates according to Australian Standards- Ensure all testing required is finalized and reported efficiently within the time frames-Produce reports on area’s performance and identify potential opportunities for the area’s growth in terms of testing capabilities-Identify any risk/hazard and ensure it is followed up until a suitable solution or elimination has been taken place
