  TRNC Special Education Foundation was established on 19th January 2004 by the families of the children in need of special education, has been registered with the Decision given by the Family Court of Nicosia and under the Foundation of Certificate –Charter of no. 2/2003 with an aim to offer a global standard of special education and rehabilitation service to the people of our country through ensuring cooperation with all the establishments and institutions rendering health, special education, rehabilitation and care services within the boundaries of TRNC and throughout the world. As an assistant psychologist at the school for children with special needs, I attended to special education sessions (Milieu Teaching and DIR method for kids with autism and learning disabilities), psychological therapies (Sensory Integrative Therapy, Speech Therapy, Play and Art Therapy) under the supervision of a trained clinical psychologist.
