  I was brought in as interim Director of Development and primary Major Gift Officer for this nonprofit, non-sectarian housing provider where I cultivated, solicited, and stewarded major donors. SELECT HIGHLIGHTS: ✦ Served on planning committee and solicited sponsorships for a fundraising gala attended by 400, which raised over $450,000. ✦ Planned and oversaw dedication and renaming ceremony accompanied by announcement of a multimillion-dollar renovation project to upgrade 209 affordable living units.

  I joined this national major gift fundraising organization to identify and manage a portfolio of 150 donors and prospects throughout greater Boston. Here, I sourced and stewarded philanthropists in the greater Boston metro area, Connecticut, and Rhode Island to support higher education for the Technion, Israel’s leading science and technology university, known as the ‘MIT of Israel.’ Through extensive travel, communication and partnership with university leadership, staff, and faculty, I planned their visits to donors in New England, and customized VIP visits for donors and prospects in Israel to showcase the institution and align tours with individual interests. SELECT HIGHLIGHTS: ✦ Closed three seven-figure gifts and paved way for long-term relationships with donors. ✦ Strengthened alliances with greater Boston’s Technion Alumni Society and Business Council to promote ongoing connections with the university. ✦ Recruited new board members and leadership development program participants to build pipeline of up-and-coming donors and influencers with interest in Israel and higher education. ✦ Revived fundraising in West Hartford territory to cultivate network of engaged philanthropists and deliver six figures from 50+ donors. ✦ Authored region’s contributions to national strategic plan to outline leadership development, alumni outreach, communications, and planned giving strategies. The mission of the American Technion Society (ATS) is to raise funds on behalf of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, to help the university be among the World's leading institutions, improving the well being of Israel and humanity through leadership in science and technology. Since it was founded in 1940, the ATS has raised more than $2.0 billion for the Technion.
