Bio
Jan Greene
I worked with Peter for several years when he edited Managed Care magazine and I was a freelance writer covering health policy and intricacies of the health care system. He was an excellent editor; insightful about the health care industry and catching new trends as they happen, endlessly encouraging to a struggling writer, and vigilant about maintaining high journalistic standards in a trade publication. His edits were usually suggestions to rethink a direction, fill a logical hole, or adjust an attempt at clever wording gone bad. He was never a slash and burn kind of editor. Working with Peter was a major highlight of my freelance writing days.
Ann MacDonald
I had the great pleasure of working with Peter for eight years at Harvard Health Publications, the last four as a fellow newsletter editor. I remain in awe of his ability to read through a vast amount of research and not only distill the essence of what matters but also convey it in a creative way. He was a wonderfully collaborative colleague who often put the heart into our team efforts. I look forward to the next chapter in his career.
