From October 2016 until March 2017, I worked as an Intern under the leadership and supervision of Zuzana, Policy Advisor & Project Manager at FIP. Zuzana’s inspiring mentorship helped me to transform from a student into a professional. Zuzana’s passion for the work encouraged me to come outside of my comfort zone and work towards desired outcomes within allotted time. Zuzana created a friendly environment at the office – it allowed me to ask questions anytime I needed support. She explained how the pieces of my work fall into the big picture, making also the operative part of the work interesting and important. All in all, the internship largely contributed to my personal and professional development, and inspired me to continue my career in the global health policies
