I have been with this company for 12 years, initially working as an NVQ assessor which then led onto Internal Verification and Adult Teaching/Tutoring. I have carried out project management and ensured quality marks for the company such as Investors In People and the Matrix (Advice and Guidance) mark. I am a touch typist and carry out many of the admin chores which also include leaflets made in Photoshop and InDesign, thus ensuring the corporate image is consistent. I was head of the IT support department along with my colleage, together we set up a Virtual Learning Environment for our learners to access their courses online. For the final year in the company I headed up and ran the management of an e-portfolio alongside a company called Quals-Direct, I have written 80% of the course content for tasks and tests within every provision delivered through the online e-portfolio. My main role towards the end of my time was as Quality Assurance, IT Support, Projects and Marketing.. these roles have many descriptions and remits in insuring the quality of the service is met. I was also self employed and contracted to Wessex as an assessor/IQA for childcare, management and business admin apprenticeship training. I was a partner on the board for SWATPro, a parent company who accessed SFA funding. As well as a member of the quality improvement group within this partnership meeting quarterly to standardise and work towards Ofsted grade of Outstanding through combining qualities and systems from each partner. I was responsible for all MIS systems within the company, along with tendering for funding and new contracts.
