Its rare to come across a leader like Matt. But I was lucky enough to do so at the beginning of my career, and I truly feel that my success in technology is in no small part thanks to the early mentorship and leadership I experienced working with him. I began working with Matt after I was hired to a different department of Cyrus Technologies. He came across my resume and saw my interest and amateur experience in design / development and asked to borrow me for the technology team. Before I knew it his guidance had lead me into being a full fledged software developer building things that were 5 years ahead of their time and even starting to lead teams myself. Matt always see's the potential in people, technology, and business, and this unique foresight allows him to build exceptional high performance teams and products. Matt not only has a deep understanding of technology, people, and business. But an understanding of how those 3 pieces fit together to create success and do great things. His equal comfort and experience in a codebase, a performance review, a white board, a board room, and an amphitheater allows him to easily blend together and synergize aspects of a technology focused business that typically suffer many natural barriers. Matt also understands how to convey this to customers, stakeholders, and team members. And his ability to evangalize and get people excited about technology and products is unreal. I highly recommend Matt to anyone looking truly exceptional leadership and vision.
