My family and I are lucky enough to live in a characterful old cottage, and so when we identified the need to replace our stairs and to install a wooden floor in our entrance hallway, we were looking for a very particular set of requirements. They took time and care to show us all of the options for fuming, finishing and dressing their oak products, and since everything is bespoke, it is amazing what they can do from the same raw materials. The design process was very supportive, and our ideas were incorporated into a new set of stairs that is nothing short of magnificent, complemented by a beautiful oak floor. All materials were provided, including lacquers and oils for protection and full advice given to our excellent joiner and to me when it came to the finishing touches. We are delighted with the finished results, and we are sure tht we have added value to our home should we ever sell. We are also in no doubt that the stairs in particular will outlast us, and will be enjoyed by future owners of our house for centuries to come.
