I served to inform and assist freshman through orientation and further within SCAD’s FYE (an extended 10 week orientation) course that is required for all students. I sent out weekly emails to announce interesting events for the students, as well as ensuring they always had a student to ask questions to. “Orientation assistants are enthusiastic, highly visible student leaders who are trained to help students and parents during orientation.       I created the brand to help spread awareness of mental health through apparel and fashion. The main hoodie design features a QR code that, when scanned, brings the scanner to a list of mental health resources. This plays off of the natural human curiosity as it’s scanned in the hallways of school, in a Starbucks line, and even on the street. Each time someone scans they are reminded of the importance of being there for each other, and they are given multiple directories and resources for mental well-being. I am extremely passionate about spreading mental health awareness and every aspect of this brand was designed and created with the intention of helping others. Show less
