As Cottonwood County's first full time GIS Specialist I am currently developing a county-wide GIS program from the ground up, creating a GIS advisory committee, and drafting a GIS strategic plan. Some of my tasks and activities include: - Conducting complex geospatial analysis for conservation practice siting with the Agricultural Conservation Planning Framework (ACPF) in collaboration with Cottonwood Soil and Water Conservation District. - Providing detailed mapping products and GPS/CAD integration solutions to the Cottonwood County Highway Department Engineering and Public Works teams. - Assisting Cottonwood County Assessors and Auditor/Treasurer departments with spatial data quality and integrity maintenance using Schneider Corp.
