Having worked with Niamh on various projects throughout my time in GMIT I only have positive things to say. She is without a doubt the hardest working person I have worked with and her attention to detail and thoroughness is second to none. She will undoubtedly become a leading business lady in the future and the company in which she chooses to work with will reap the rewards.

As Nissan is the ‘Official Automotive Partner’ for Dubai EXPO 2020, I led on the project management of Nissan’s main presence at the EXPO 2020 event. My primary role was to co-ordinate between all stakeholders (16 in total), manage timelines, internal approvals along with a substantial budget. This was an extremely complex, challenging, yet exciting project. In October 2019, I was heavily involved in the global launch of the iconic Nissan Patrol 2020. This was a strenuous yet extremely rewarding project which received global recognition. - 780+ Global Reveal Event Attendees - 460+ Test Drive Participants over 7 Days & 3 Terrains (City, Desert & Mountain Terrain)- 120 Press Conference Attendees (Global, Regional & Local Media)In November 2019, I was part of the core team for planning and executing the Nissan Middle East Exhibition at the Dubai International Motor Show. Our presence was well received by both the media and attendees. This was another great achievement for our team.

This unique programme is an action learning programme which is focused on hands-on experience with students completing real-life commercial projects for some of Ireland’s top companies. Students are known as “marketing advisors”. Development within the course includes client management, time management, leadership, negotiation, conflict management and team work. It is a practical based masters, whereby students are tasked with balancing academia with live company projects. Some of the projects and companies I have worked with include, Fáilte Ireland, a FMCG company, an international paint company, three start-ups and a social media management project, among others.I was also responsible for Business Development and Salesforce administration for the Programme.
