Camp Counselor
-
Jul 2015 - Jul 2017
As a Volleyball Camp Counselor at Western Oregon University I had the pleasure of leading a lot of really interesting and fun activities that not only improved one's own volleyball game but also impacted the participant's life on a broader scope. These camps were all 4 night camps that hosted elementary through high school girls. Everyday I needed to come ready to play, lead, and teach all while having tons of energy because these youth girls really looked up to their camp counselors. Through team building and leadership activities I had the ability to motivate and inspire these young girls. In the short amount of time I was with them, I had the ability to see these women transform and feel empowered which was incredibly rewarding for me. Show less
