Between July 2011 and Aug. 2012 this was a full-time correspondent position reporting on Central Asia from Almaty. This morphed into occassional freelance reporting for the next 9-1/2 years. On Feb. 24 this changed again. Since the end of Feb. I have been part of the Telegraph's remote Moscow bureau focused on reporting the Kremlin's war in Ukraine and its impact on Russia and its FSU neighbours.
