When Jon joined the NFL two years ago, his impact was felt immediately with the progressive, collaborative and forward-thinking approach he brought to our office. Jon is that "connector" in the office who brings positivity and ingenuity to every interaction with which he's involved. It stood out to me immediately that Jon has longtime been dedicated to the role he plays in increasing the visibility and fostering the development of underrepresented minorities and women. Jon volunteered his time to advance the NFL's LGBTQ+ and Inspire Change efforts and his contributions were felt not only internally, but through his help in launching several progressive and "needle moving" efforts that would not have come to fruition without his influence. Jon is a rare gem, an employee who consistently gives positive energy to a room and brings a perspective that enlightens end educates. I highly recommend Jon as an employee who will elevate any organization with which he works.

Jon is one leader that my colleagues and I could count on to lead, come up with creative ideas, provide guidance and helpful feedback. He showed up for us as not only senior management, but as a friend. Jon took interest my career from the day I started at the NFL and I will always consider him as a mentor. One of Jon's strengths I noticed during our time together at the league was his ability to take a new and challenging project and galvanize the entire team to work together to achieve results. He's a dynamic marketing and communications professional who goes all in. Jon is an incredible and supportive teammate who will celebrate the wins of those around him and help them learn and develop from difficult situations.

I created and executed marketing communications strategies to amplify NFL campaigns and events – from Super Bowl and Draft to NFL Votes and NFL 100. I led the 2020 NFL Draft tune-in effort, generating more than 2X ratings growth YoY in key markets of focus vs. all others, including double-digit ratings increases among LatinX and African Americans. As leader of the NFL’s Editorial Content Working Group, I reimagined the 114-year-old traditional press release into a digital marketing tool and redefined how the NFL goes to market with news -- which is delivering +44% unique visitors, +53% page views and +19% time spent on site. I captured the PRWeek In-House Team of the Year Award and led the 30-plus person team across four offices, managing strategy, planning, logistics, operations and collaboration across the entire group. Delivered strategic counsel to the top leaders in the sport -- from the sanctioning body and premier sponsors, to team owners and track companies. Named PRWeek 40 Under 40 and PRNews Corporate Social Responsibility Leader of the Year.

I helped transform the public perception of the bank’s sports sponsorship portfolio and rebuilt trust with consumers during the height of the financial crisis by utilizing the bank’s customer acquisition-driven sponsorships to showcase its philanthropy/volunteerism. I also steered communications for the Chicago Marathon -- an event the bank owned that featured 45K runners. I was on the U.S. Marketing Leadership Team, steering communications for the brand’s iconic “Priceless” campaign and shaping its creative go-to-market strategy. I also oversaw all U.S. corporate reputation and corporate social responsibility efforts. The same year MasterCard issued its IPO, I handled crisis communications the brand's very public legal battle with FIFA, helping it win a $90M settlement.
