Lucas moved quickly from helping me with edit and graphic support to being a Feature Produce & Editor for Virginia Currents while I was Managing Producer. He has a thorough knowledge of Adobe Premiere and taught me some editing workarounds I had yet to teach myself at that point. Lucas soon acclimated to the Virginia Currents documentary style of editing and storytelling and eagerly took on the turnkey producer role (researching & setting up stories, field producing & editing). His initiative, organizing & media management skills as well as videography talent were integral to the program. His eye for interesting story subjects and his way of seeing both sides of every issues helped make the program even more dynamic. I was honored to work with Lucas.
