• Conducted a week-long training for a group of 15 university graduates on administering a children’s cognitive test, Child Development Learning (CDL), and a parent and teacher survey through the Insituto Colombiano Para La Evaluación De La Educación (ICFES). • Provided trainees with a literature review of how and why the test items were selected, with opportunities to practice for inter-rater reliability, and with opportunities to modify questions to fit the context of the regional culture, as approved by the National Education Ministry of Colombia. • Supervised the trainees in a field practice at schools where they piloted the test instrument and surveys. • Provided support, as needed to implement the test and surveys with fidelity. • Conducted feedback sessions with the trainees to discuss issues regarding implementation of the test and surveys, receiving parental consent, legal and ethical dilemmas, and cultural appropriateness of the instrument. • Wrote a report that summarized the training schedule, activities, concerns, trainee feedback, and test modifications for ICFES to keep on record for future trainings and troubleshooting during the first wave of testing. • Helped ICFES resolve test implementation issues by providing rationales based on cultural appropriateness and literature reviews for acceptable answers on test items.
