As part of my graduate studies, I was a Master's student counselor at a Kindergarten- 5th grade urban school where I completed approximately 200 hours of direct and indirect services. I met with clients between the ages of 6 and 11 once per week for thirty minute sessions. In addition I conducted a girls counseling group that discussed the various topics of friendship, self-esteem, positive interactions with peers to name a few. While completing my practicum experience, I worked with my clients through the Person-Centered Therapy counseling style.
