I have had the privilege and opportunity to be a part of David Soriano’s team in ASPRO PARKS UK. During my time under David’s directorship I have seen the attractions successes across the UK portfolio consistently increase due to David’s decisions to invest in site developments. Just to name one example taking Oakwood Theme Park’s 4.5 million pound ‘Neverland’ development which proved to be positively perceived and generated a 40% increase in visitor numbers in comparison to the previous year. David Soriano’s commitment to ASPRO PARKS internationally is truly incredible, his knowledge in global tourism markets, linguistic skills and impeccable business, financial and marketing acumen has expanded the ASPRO PARKS portfolio to have 65 (and growing) parks across the globe. What I found inspiring was David’s encouragement and unquestionable support to his team. I cannot express or be thankful enough for all of David’s trust and belief in my skill set during my time in Bristol Aquarium. David recognised my strengths and got the best out of me as a tourism marketer and always helped me when I needed to overcome my weaknesses and marketing challenges successfully. David Soriano is not only an inspirational individual but an absolute pleasure to work with. I hope to cross paths with David again and greatly miss being under his directorship.
