Designed and teaching a course examining impact of social, natural and technological disasters from a cross-cultural interdisciplinary perspective, including hurricanes, droughts, disease outbreaks, nuclear disasters, earthquakes, etc. Focus on global, national, regional, and local patterns of development, examining social, geographical, and cultural factors that put people differentially at risk before, during, and after disasters. Co-developed and ensured consistency of the overall DR/ER information system data management framework. Effectively managed the health repository data management/ geographical information system (DM/GIS) staff—during its peak, a 20+person operation—and monitored and evaluated its activities to ensure smooth, efficient implementation and operation of support for the Exposure and Health Survey (20,000 sample size), Clinical Monitoring Program (500 sample size), and the Long-term Health Effects Study (LTHES).
