Jim is active in the US Green Building Council’s Cincinnati Regional Chapter. He is a past board member and past chair of the Emerging Professionals. He in most directly involved with the communications member circle. He has organized design competitions including the Redevelopment of the Drop Inn Center -a local homeless shelter- and the Natural Talent Design Competition to facilitate the construction of homes in New Orleans that are affordable, efficient and have minimal impact on the environment.
