My main role was to tend and converse with customers in store. It was extremely satisfying and enabled me to work on my communication skills, therefore building an understanding of people and their individual needs. This prompted me to seek a full-time career in which I can utilise these skills in future. My main role was to tend and converse with customers in store. I previously aided ACLU with their virtual campaign 'Giving Tuesday', promoting petitions to aid in the change of immigration and female reproductive rights in the US. This ignited my interest in Law and my current desire for a future degree in Law with Criminology. As part of my A-Level studies, a selected group of Health and Social Care Students (including myself) were offered the opportunity to complete one week's Work Experience in Lisanally Special School. Working with children helped me going forward to work with overwhelming environments and communicate in stressful situations. The busy lives of the full-time staff there gave me insight into working in teams to diffuse situations and allow the best outcomes that benefit the children's learning to come to fruition. After 5 years of attending a dance academy, I was awarded a position of responsibility when I was asked to monitor the tills and handle cash as my first leap into a working environment. This highlighted the trust that had been handed to me at such a young age which strengthened my sense of self and taught me priceless skills for my future in working with people and juggling many tasks at once.
