  My responsibilities include creating and adapting lesson plans according to students’ academic needs, including individual and group work; maintaining discipline in the classroom; methodically providing resources for lessons; simplifying lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives and assisting students in preparing for examinations in a 2,500+ student school.I was responsible for assessing and looking after 150+ students’ progress throughout the term and working closely with other staff to efficiently plan and coordinate work and provide informative presentations to students regarding different areas of studies and ensure that all students fully comprehend all aspects.Additionally, I would meet with parents, guardians, administrators, and counsellors to address and resolve students’ behavioural issues. In my time here, I was nominated for the Best Innovative teacher in GIIS.I successfully reinforced and maintained classroom management by incorporating motivational activities and positive reinforcement where students took ownership of their actions and behaviourIn this role, I incorporated engaging teaching methods and resources that set a strong foundation for learning encouraging student participation and self-motivation to seek out more information as well as designed and developed learning centres in the absence of books, activities and educational games; extending and enriching the learning process by supporting the growth and learning of all students.Also, I successfully implemented a series of activities based learning programs, which increased student interest in regular lessons and researched novel materials and resources for a primary school program, resulting in the betterment of students’ grades.I improved seven students’ reading comprehension by 50% by employing flashcard tactics and introducing group discussions.
